Jim Diamond's case against White Stripes to go to court

It's kind of sad that it came to this, but I actually think Jim has a point here. I've been in enough recording sessions to know how important the producer and engineer can be to the creative process, and it's no secret that the White Stripes' sound owes a whole heck of a lot to Jim's ear.
I was a big fan of one Jim Diamond's earlier bands, The Wayouts, and would give a lot to have copies of some Christmas songs he and the other Wayouts recorded one year (1988?) and played on East Lansing radio.
