I've never heard of these before but am now very intrigued: Brian Eno and the painter Peter Schmidt created a set of over 100 cards with various aphorisms printed on them, with the intention of choosing a card at random and doing what it says, when faced with a situation where creativity is stifled.
I guess there are several versions out there. Perhaps a look on E-Bay would show a couple of sets for sale.
