It's been 23 years since last I set foot in the country and a lot of things have changed in that time!
I thought I'd post the 10 things I learned while planning the trip and while there. Several things I learned before we left; several things I learned while there.
I'm hoping that this might help a fellow traveler who's looking for answers about travel, ATMs, trains, money, food, etc. prior to leaving for Japan.

The Arp is a bit more challenging: it's missing around 10 slider knobs and has three broken keys: The low C, the high C, and the B above the lowest C.

I'm hoping that by journaling my challenge in obtaining parts, someone will pick up on this feed and help me out in the comment section. It was just too good to stay on TV.
I was living in Japan while it was on American television, (1988-1990), but did end up catching several episodes during the autumn and winter months while I was back at home.
Here's the Wikipedia entry on the show:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Music
Check out the line-up of guest musicians for each episode, and keep in mind that quite often the guests would get together for one, if not more, songs during the episode. Eclectic is probably too often used to describe the show, but given the range of guests, I can't think of another more appropriate word.

I'll be posting some YouTube clips here in a second.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
