It's just a matter of time before they shut them down. Already, NBC has been successful in getting YouTube to remove all the copies of "Lazy Sunday," the Chronicles of Narnia rap thingy from a couple of months ago. I'd say most, if not all of the videos I've made links to are controlled by copyright owned by someone other than the poster.
It's going to be a sad day, but it's coming, I'm sure.
